3rd graders weren't the only ones who had all the fun yesterday! Our 2nd graders got the chance to go out and learn a lot about nature at the Chippewa Nature Center!
Check out the 4th Graders learning from local businesses about composting! So much fun with hands on learning! Kudos to our amazing teachers for arranging great learning opportunities and working hand in hand with local business owners!

Varsity softball has added a game for Wednesday 5/24 in Houghton Lake (game time 4:15) to replace the cancelled away game @ Ashley on 5/25. Thanks for your understanding.

Varsity Softball has added a home game on Monday 5/22 versus Reed City 2 4pm . The Tuesday 5/23 game in Montabella has been cancelled with no make up date. Varsity Baseball versus Montabella on 5/23 also has been cancelled, however a new opponent for that day is tentatively scheduled and when it becomes official we will announce the change.
Today's Softball and Baseball games have been rescheduled for Friday 5/5. Varsity Baseball and Softball will be at Pinconning for a 4 pm start and JV Softball will host at 4 pm. Thanks for your patience.
All Softball and Baseball Games are postponed for this evening. Tentatively the Reschedule date will be Friday May 5th. Coaches will get practice info for the day out to their athletes as soon as possible.

Upcoming Band Concerts This Week at Farwell Area Schools!
May 4th at 6:30 PM the 5th - 7th Grade Bands will be presenting their Spring Band Concert!
May 8th at 6:30 PM the 8th-12th Grade Bands will be presenting their Spring Band Concert!
Both evenings are free and will be held in the Jaime Performing Arts Center
It's your last day to RSVP for Fentanyl Awareness Night! This is a night of learning that you do NOT want to miss out on. We would love to serve you dinner, as well, so make sure you show up at 6:30pm for food or just for the presentation at 7pm. RSVP through our school website today before 4pm.
It's here, it's here, it's really here! Woodshop auction items are out for viewing and bidding now! Along with being able to check out the items during school events, this year you'll be able to come in from 2pm-3pm any weekday to be escorted down and make a move on any of these wonderful pieces of furniture handcrafted by Farwell students. You or your student can place a bid in person, which is preferred, or you will be able to bid online later. Mr. Thompson and the woodshop students are working hard to put together the online auction and we will post that when we have it for you. As always, we are grateful for your support and can't wait for you to see what our students made this year.

The Farwell Area Schools will be offering Free Sports Physicals and Immunization to all students on April 21, 2023 from 1-4 PM at the Farwell High School's Bubble Entrance 490 E. Ohio St. Farwell, MI 48622.
All required forms have been emailed to parents, and students. Form are still available through the high school office. Paperwork must be completed before services.

Farwell Elementary Students will be presenting a Showcase showing what they have been learning in Art, Music and STEM on April 19th!
Combined 1st and 2nd grade music concert is at 5:30 pm. Those students should report to the elementary gym at 5:20 pm in order to get lined up.
The 3rd grade music concert is at 6:00 pm. Those students should report to the elementary gym is 5:50 pm in order to get lined up.
Students will also have Art and STEM projects on display throughout the school so parents can see the exciting things their students are learning in class!
