Dear Farwell Area School Families,
The Farwell Area Schools would like to make parents aware of a great training opportunity. The Farwell Area Schools received a grant to provide Teen Truth Training to our Parents, Students, and Staff. (The Flyer is on our website)
The parent event will be this Thursday, 9.4.25 at 6 PM in the Jamie Performing Arts Center. Dinner is being provided. This is for parents only! We do not have student supervision available.
Middle School and High School students will attend the training in the AM of Friday, 9.5.25, in two separate sessions. While the entire Farwell Staff will receive the training on Friday afternoon.
Friday, 9.5.25 is a half day for students with a 12 (Noon) dismissal.
Don’t forget our second home football game on Friday night against Osborne. Come out, cheer on your team and watch our amazing Eagle Marching Band!

First, don’t forget the tailgate party tonight from 5-6:30 PM located near the Middle School Main Entrance on Ohio Street, and our varsity Football Game against Hesperia at 7 PM.
The second reminder is that the Farwell Area Schools are closed on Friday, August 29, 2025 and Monday, September 1, 2025 for the Labor Day Weekend.

First, this is a reminder that Friday 8.22.25 is a ½ Day for students with a 12 o'clock (Noon) Student Dismissal.
The second message is regarding Drop Off and Pick Up. A PDF has been loaded to our website for those that are more visual. https://5il.co/3obbp
Please avoid driving and dropping off students in and around our buses. Both the Middle School and the High School have drop off locations on the South Side of our Campus, accessed from East Michigan Street. This keeps you off of the busy Ohio Street and is an easy in and out to M-115. For students it is a shorter and safer walk into the building, than walk through moving cars the JPAC Parking lot.
In the PM, these parking lots serve as pick up lanes. The Middle School Round Robin prevents your student from walking between parked and moving cars.

This memorial tree is in honor of our late teacher and friend, Carrie Forfinski. We are blessed to have known and loved her.
Monday 8-18-25 is the first day of school. Please remember It is a Full Day of school!
Please remember that our buses will be on the roads and students will be at bus stops and cross walks. We appreciate you looking out for our Eagles.
On Monday, August 18th, Middle School Sports will have their first practice after school. Middle school cross country will meet at the victory benches at 3:30pm, 7th grade volleyball will be in the JPAC gym at 3:00pm, 8th grade volleyball will be in the HS Aux gym at 3:45pm, and 7th and 8th grade football will be at the practice fields at 5:30pm. Please bring an up to date physical to practice that day if you have not turned it into the office already.

Dear FAS Families,
This is the Farwell Area Schools passing along some important events, dates, and times.
Kindergarten Orientation is on Wednesday, August 13th from 5 - 6:30 PM.
First -12th Grade Open Houses for all three buildings are being held on Thursday, from 4-6 pm. Last year, we heard from Parents that they preferred having open houses all on one night. We have created a two-hour window so you can visit each building as needed.
Finally, the Fall Athletic Parent Meeting is being held in the JPAC at 6 PM, following Open House.
We are looking forward to seeing you soon!
Immediately after Open House head to the JPAC auditorium for a 30 minute meeting with your coaches and Athletic Director!
