A HUGE thank you to the Central Michigan Health Department. They have started a new program called REFRESH (Rural Engagement Facilitating Resources and Education for School Hygiene). Today, they donated literally thousands of products to our school district! Next month they will be bringing more things, like toothbrushes, toothpaste, shampoo, conditioner, deodorant and more. Thank you again CMHD!

Summer Message Good afternoon, Eagle Families! Farwell staff have been preparing for the 2022/2023 school year, and here are a few things we want you to know before school starts: First day of school for students will be Wednesday, August 24th. This is a full day of school. We have a new website, www.farwellschools.net. Hopefully, you’ll find it brighter and easier to use, but you might have to spend a little time getting yourself familiar with everything. Everything that was on our old site has been transferred over to the new site, and we’ve put the most important information right up front for you. School supply lists, calendars, and open house dates can all be found on our website. If there’s something missing, let us know! Secretaries will be returning to the offices during the week of August 15. Before then, the offices will be closed. If you need to enroll a new student, please stop in to the administration office to pick up an enrollment packet. Teacher letters will be mailed home in August, and you can always check your Skyward Family Access for information on your students’ schedules. As soon as the schedules are loaded into Skyward, they’ll be available for you - just keep checking your Family Access periodically for updates. If you don’t have Family Access, please contact the building secretary where your student attends and they can help you get set up. It’s easy and convenient! If your student will be dropped off and picked up, please take a few minutes to familiarize yourself with our pickup/drop off areas, especially if you have a student in a new building this year. We want to keep traffic flowing, and keep our students safe. We’ve painted some new lines in the parking lots to make things easier. We’re looking forward to a great school year, and we can’t wait to see all our staff and students in the buildings again. Enjoy the last few weeks of summer, school will be here before you know it!

**ATTENTION STUDENTS AND PARENTS** If you have not turned in your school-issued chromebook, please bring to the school ASAP. We have to inventory and update them over the summer. They may be dropped off (with chargers!) at the administration office between 7am and 5pm Monday through Thursday.
