Today is the day to be a part of conservation’s power. Fuel for the Future was the topic of the 2007 Clare County Conservation Districts Poster Contest. Jordan Reger received 4th grade Grand Champion for Clare County from Farwell Elementary School. The following Farwell Elementary 4th grade students also placed: Maire Schram - 1st place, Taylor Helmer - 2nd place, Megan Medford - 3rd place, and Maria Murphy - 4th place. These students were honored at the annual Clare County Conservation District breakfast and election on March 3, 2007. Their posters will be moving on to a state competition.
